Gatlinburg, Tennessee Family Vacation

So I know a few people want to see vacation pictures from our trip. There were 18 of us in Tennessee for the last week, and I would actually say that it was probably one of the best vacations I have been on. We went to Gatlinburg 6 years ago when I first met Shane, but I have found that family vacations are a lot more fun when you have a family. Well here is a few things that we did when we were out there....

Stopped in St. Louis at Grant's Farm to see the animals and drink some free beer.
It was incredibly hot out, we were all pouring sweat, but still enjoyable.







Ashton feed some billy goats while we were there. Jaxon is off with dad, for some reason he does not like animals odd.



Then he had to groom them.



Ate at Lambert's cafe after Grant's Farm no photos to document the good food. While at Lambert's picked up washers. Awesome game and got a ton of use in Tennessee.



Hiked up to Grotto Falls with Tanya, Dan, & Brady.



Jaxon feel asleep in his pack by the time we reached the top.



I thought he wouldn't want to miss the waterfall so I woke him up for a family photo.



Awoke at 6:00 A.M. to bike a 13 mile trail at Cades Cove, when arrived all out of bikes for 2 hours so we went horseback riding. I was in no mood to snap photos on top of Maggie going .2 mph. She was a horrible nag that kept biting everyones butt, going off the path, and throwing her head around. Along the way we did see three baby black bear cubs though.



The boys rented a Jeep one day and drove around. After dinner out at the Park Grill went up to Clingman's Dome for another hike.













At the top of Clingman's Dome it was pretty dark we saw the moon coming up on one side and the sun setting on the other.



Went to Ripley's Aquarium, Jax and I loved this.



















Touched the Horseshoe Crab.



Met a shark.









Loved the Jelly Fish so pretty my favorite fish at the aquarium.









Took some naps. Ashton feel asleep on the walk to Bubba Gump Shrimp Company. The food was good, and the boys loved all the trivia the waiters asked.






Ashton and Jax got new hats "Stupid is as Stupid does."


Rode the trolley.



Swam, the resort had a indoor waterpark where we spent a lot of time in the kids pool and on the lazy river.



Went to No Way Jose's for some pitchers of Margaritas.



More swimming, love his face.



Last, we did a little mini golf and I came in last place with Al.
(note: Hailey who is 4 had 4 hole in ones and I had 0.)
