Memorial Day Weekend

Danette, Colby, Jax, and I went down to the Lake of the Ozarks to visit my grandma and pick up more tiles to finish up the kitchen floor. We stayed Friday night and then left at 11 Saturday morning hoping to get home early. Well Danette and I decided to stop in Barnett at our favorite Amish Food Store. We happened to show up at about lunchtime and ate the best barbecue chicken I have ever had in my life. I can hardly wait till next year for more! After that we shopped for about 2 hours and got a ton of stuff Danette had to ride home with her feet on the dashboard since there was not an ounce of space left!
First we stopped at Shirk's Produce Store for directions and grabbed some fresh strawberries. Jax and Colby were covered in them by the time we got to Dutch Market. They absolutely loved them he was a wreck by the time we got home! Strawberries caked on his face, soaked in pink lemonade, and a poopy diaper but it was a fun trip!
