Audrey: Maternity (Take 2)

It was dark and cloudy when we did Audrey's maternity pictures. When I think of maternity I think of soft sunny photos in a big wispy field! So that is what we did, I love these so so much I did a little different editing on these which I am also enjoying a lot! She is so freaking gorgeous, I can hardly wait to see their little lady (I think it is a girl) in a few weeks!


Ok these are all my faves, but I love this one. I have been wanting to play around with silhouettes but never shoot late enough in the day. We did a lot of hunting for the perfect spot, and I think we found it, especially love the grass in the foreground.

Love love this shoot, such a gorgeous family! Jacoby was pretty serious, taking everything in with people doing jumping jacks, shaking keys, and yelling his name I would have a pretty puzzled look too! I had a ton of favorites, and could edit all day but I have a meeting and want to get these up before I leave. Enjoy!

Audrey : Maternity

Here are a few more from the other night with Greg & Audrey (I shot Greg & Audrey's wedding almost a year ago and am super excited to now be documenting them starting a family). It was a challenging shoot because we were lacking my favorite element....light. It had poured like crazy all morning and let up that afternoon but was extremely dark. I am hoping to take some more of Audrey in some yummy golden light before she pops. Everyone is anxiously awaiting the birth of the little one since it is the first grandchild on both sides and they have also decided to hold off on finding out the sex & telling the names they have chosen as well they want it to be a HUGE surprise. I just don't know how people do it, I am way to inpatient for that!

I just have to share two photos from tonight's session that grabbed me while I was flipping through them. More soon but it is 1 A.M. and I need my beauty sleep (maybe it will get rid of all this poison ivy that is driving me nuts!) Ella 3 months

I really need to get more of Jax and her together but she changes so much everyday that she has been getting a little more attention. I made this tutu for her way before she was born it is nothing to fancy but I love tutus and big flowers for photos. So I dressed her up and threw her in the grass for 5 minutes tonight, it was way to hot and humid for anything more, and the mosquitoes were eating us alive. I love these photos because they are the things I want to remember about Ella right now, her cute baby feet, her lizard tongue that goes 90 to nothing, her dark blue eyes and her chubby rolls. She is also holding herself up like a pro these days, I am such a proud momma!
